Our team consists of experienced administrators and well qualified teaching staff to ensure students have a positive learning experience during their studies with us. Our students, staff and tutors are the best representatives for our foundation and through careful selection and training we always aim to provide them with a positive and memorable service.
With over thirty years' experience in the education sector, Tim has worked at operational, management and corporate level in both the independent and private sectors. Tim holds a Masters in Strategic Marketing and a Post Graduate in Education combined with certification from the CAM Foundation and The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Education and training projects have included the launching of training companies and business schools overseas and the UK, Managing Compliance, Project Management Training, Curriculum Design, managing professional courses at Westminster College and Croydon College, and more recently stepping down, after more than ten years, as Chairman and CEO of a British Awarding Organisation. Over the years he has liaised with the British Council, Ofqual, QCF and numerous embassies in London and overseas. Tim retains a clear ambition to offer students a first class learning experience when they join The London Language Foundation.
Acting DOS and Course Leader at LLF, English Tutor: London-born, Simon has extensive leadership, management, administrative and academic experience. CELTA-qualified, fluent in French, with additional languages of Spanish and German. His outside interests include linguistics, song-writing, art and London’s nightlife. Currently delivering general English, ESP, one to ones, and exam and essay-writing tuition.
Originally born in Bulgaria, Tsveti graduated from university in her home country. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Science and an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Communications and Advertising. Her work at LLF covers student recruitment, welfare and office administration.
Chuck is TEFL-certified and has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from SOAS. He has six years of teaching experience in a variety of settings, such as ESOL, EFL, Business English, English for Construction, Academic English, English Language, English Literature, 11+, KS3, GCSE, and A-level. A writer, he brings creativity and enthusiasm to his classes no matter the level or experience of his students. Chuck has been with LLF since September 2015, and outside of teaching he enjoys reading, traveling, and keeping in shape.
Darius is a CELTA-qualified EFL teacher hailing from Berkshire. He enjoys helping students to improve their English skills, and strives to make lessons enjoyable and interesting. Darius has a degree in Civil Engineering, and had a career as a professional software tester working in both the state and private sectors. His outside interests include hiking, fitness training, music and literature.
Imogen is TEFL-certified and has a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and International Relations. She has six years of experience teaching English as a Second Language and spent the last two years in Chile working as an academic coordinator and teacher. During this time she taught IELTS prep, business and tourism English. Previously, she studied and worked in Minnesota, USA, running employment workshops at a refugee resettlement settlement. She moved to London in 2015 and began teaching at LLF in spring 2016. In the autumn, she will be dividing her time between LLF and an MsC at SOAS.
Sue is experienced in dealing with welfare issues for people of all ages. She has worked in the charity sector for over 10 years, working with unpaid carers, people with dementia, people with mental health problems and young people in schools. She has worked as an NVQ Assessor in Business Administration and worked for over 10 years as a Trainer for Sun Alliance Insurance Company. She started her career as a Schools Careers Officer, giving careers guidance and counselling to students. She has a Diploma in NLP, as well as a CELTA qualification to teach English.
Fiona has had a career in education and management spanning thirty years, working in local government and in colleges and universities in both the public and private sector. In addition to a Sociology degree, she has a Master of Education qualification for which she specialised in English Language Teaching and Educational Management.
